It's about time I wrote something serious here. It's been a while. The weeks fly by and you wonder if you've made any kind of useful contribution to the world or anything or anyone. There are so many things I should be doing, of course, but I'm not doing them. Writing my assignment, or my next piece of fiction (ha!) or doing something creative. Following my own advice to my students ("be creative!"). Yes there are many things I could do, should do but......instead I surf, or watch television, or prepare another martini.....
